Construction Specialist:

Description:

Construction Specialist is considered a subject matter expert on multiple systems and possesses a detailed understating of how multiple systems interact. The Construction Specialist has experience gathering field data, reading and interpreting as-built drawings, understanding equipment requirements, observing site conditions, reviewing plans and specifications, and identifying errors or deficiencies in the construction documents. The Construction Specialist can collect the necessary data to thoroughly document field conditions and prepare reports and drawings for the Project Manager. A Construction Specialist may specialize in architectural, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, plumbing design, civil engineering, structural engineering, or fire protection engineering.

Experience:

I – 0 to 5 years

II – 5 to 10 years

III – 10+ years

Education:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required for the years of work experience listed in column C. If a candidate with a high school degree or equivalent is offered, add 4 years of work experience required to column C. If a Masters degree or equivalent is offered, subtract 2 years of work experience.
