Job Title: Missile Bore Crew Member – Underground Construction

Salary: $17-22/hour

We are expanding our operations and seeking skilled, safety-focused individuals to join our Missile Bore Crew. Our team works on essential infrastructure projects that support growing communities and improve utility networks.

Job Summary:
As a Missile Bore Crew Member, you will assist with the operation of pneumatic boring tools (missiles) used in underground construction to install conduits, pipes, and other utilities without open trenching. This position involves hands-on work, problem-solving in the field, and maintaining a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, set up, and troubleshoot missile bore equipment (pneumatic piercing tools).
• Read and interpret utility plans, bore paths, and locate marks.
• Assist with pit excavation, missile launching, and pipe placement.
• Work closely with crew members to complete bores to spec, on time, and safely.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in underground utility construction preferred.
• Experience with missile boring, directional drilling, or similar trenchless methods a plus.
• Ability to operate basic construction tools and small machinery.
• Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks in varying outdoor conditions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
